Mark F. Rockefeller is an investor and entrepreneur with a focus on building businesses in the fields of brand and business consulting; marketing and communication services; technology consulting; and Web-application development. Prior to developing an independent business career, Mr. Rockefeller was an Associate in the Acquisition Finance Group at Chase Securities and spent two years as a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley & Company, Inc.
Mr. Rockefeller also currently serves as the Vice-Chairman of Rockefeller Financial Services where he is the Chairman of the Finance Committee, and is a member of the Limited Partner Advisory Committee of the family founded venture capital firm Venrock.
Mr. Rockefeller also has a strong interest in the environment, conservation, and historic preservation. He currently serves as the Chairman of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Historic Hudson Valley.
Mr. Rockefeller also developed, owns, and manages the South Fork Lodge and Outfitters and Henry's Fork Anglers, two of the premier fly-fishing resort and outfitting destinations in the Rocky Mountains.
Mr. Rockefeller holds a BA from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration. Mr. Rockefeller resides in Manhattan with his wife (Renee) and 4 children (Nolen, Anna, Teddy, and Felix) and is a member of the Princeton Club, Harvard Club, Sleepy Hollow Country Club, and Anglers Club in New York.
Robert Raleigh has consulted within the media and entertainment marketplace to develop distribution and sales strategies tied to the demands of the evolving business climate. From 1999 through 2002, Robert was President of Carsey Werner Television. He oversaw the sales, marketing, research and distribution of Cosby, Roseanne, Third Rock From the Sun, and That 70's Show - some of the biggest programs in television history. In total, he was responsible for sales that totaled in excess of $1billion.
At Carsey Werner, Raleigh executed the first multi-platform launch of a major syndicated show, That 70's Show, by establishing a sponsored Internet community around the show that linked the network and syndication episodes with promotional efforts on radio and cable television. The result was the 77th ranked network show debuting as the number 1 new show in syndication that year.
Prior to Carsey Warner, Raleigh worked for the Sperry Company, the predecessor to Unisys, in the field of Artificial Intelligence. This provided a birds eye view into the potential and future of technology that has shaped much of his professional career.
Upon graduating from Hobart College, Dr. Raleigh earned a PhD from Syracuse University. He worked as a psychologist in a variety of care giving environments, beginning as the Director of Psychological Services at Elmcrest Children's Center and later as a psychologist and eventually an Assistant to the Superintendent at Marcellus Central Schools.
Drew is a highly innovative marketing executive with a proven track record for successful implementation of unique, effective lifestyle brand marketing and revenue building programs. His knowledge across diverse functions and industries has resulted in multiple achievements and success in the entertainment, sports, and media industries.
Prior to Rockefeller Consulting Group/Insight Capitalists, Sheinman served as President, Simon Brand Ventures, the marketing and new business development division of Simon Property Group (SPG), the nation's largest retail development company. Sheinman was responsible for leading the reinvention of the Mall as a Medium. His oversight included entertainment programming, interactive media, and new marketing alliances/ventures to leverage Simon's consumer asset base of 2 billion visitors.
Throughout his career Sheinman has held senior level positions with sports teams , owners and companies including, The Baltimore Orioles, Washington Redskins, New York Mets, Indiana Pacers and New York Giants, Madison Square Garden and the Coca-Cola Company.
As an industry innovator Sheinman's noted accomplishments include creation of the MTV Rock n' Jock, creation of the first ever Fan Event, The Major League Baseball All-Star FanFest and creation of the internationally acclaimed Coca-Cola Olympic City, the first ever Olympic and Coca-Cola brand experience.
Mike provides creative direction to Rockefeller Consulting Group/Insight Capitalists, as well as its clients. For over 20 years, Mike has participated in and led many of the world's most successful branding and marketing efforts. Mike has been the recipient of every major industry creative award, including the Emmy, Clios, Addys, Andy's, The One Show and Art Directors Gold honors, among others. Prior to founding InsightCapitalists, Mike served as the Chief Creative Officer of J. Walter Thompson. Under Mike's leadership, J. Walter Thompson's flagship New York office was widely recognized for its creative success, receiving an award from Adweek as the "Eastern Agency of the Year" within a year of his arrival. He managed a 125-person creative department, and the print and television production groups.
Prior to joining J. Walter Thompson, Mike held positions of increasing responsibility at BBDO, where he created and oversaw compelling and famous advertising campaigns for Apple, FedEx, HBO, Pepsi, Pizza Hut, Visa, Texaco, Frito-Lay, Duracell, The New York Stock Exchange and US Navy. He was named a Senior Creative Director in 1994 and was elected to the BBDO New York Board of Directors in 1998.
In 1999, Mike was a founding partner in Atmosphere, BBDO's integrated, full-service digital branding agency. He served as its Chief Creative Officer and Managing Director during its launch and returned to BBDO in 2000 as Executive Vice President.
Mike attended the School of Visual Arts, where he is a frequent guest lecturer. He began his career as a cartoonist for the New York Daily News.
With over 25 years in marketing for top 100 global companies, Anne has spent her career building brands to accelerate business growth. During the course of her career, Anne has earned a reputation for building and driving transformatal teams and results-focused marketing functions that integrate strategic ideas through cohesive execution.
Prior to joining Rockefeller Consulting Group/Insight Capitalists, Anne was the CMO for Federated Department Stores (Macy's and Bloomingdales) assisting in re-launching this iconic brand by re-vitalizing the parent company and integrating regional store acquisitions. While building a cohesive marketing infrastructure to integrate communications across a national network of stores, Anne's efforts contributed to a 300% increase in the number of stores operating during her employment.
Prior, in 1997 and immediately preceding a merger with Travelers, Anne was recruited by Citigroup, where she served as the Global CMO until 2006. During her tenure she built the Corporate Marketing function and global analytical tools to track and evaluate marketing spend and programs worldwide. She also lead the team responsible for implementing Citigroup's integrated communication strategy and product development, driving business across product lines and around the globe.
Before Citigroup Anne worked with PepsiCo, spending five years at Pizza Hut, accelerating that businesses' growth with the launch of the $1Billion Stuffed Crust Pizza brand. The first 10 years of her career were spent at advertising agencies where she held positions as a regional office manager and on the Board of Directors.
Markus Deutsch is the Principal of Landmark Global Associates LLC, a strategic advisory firm focused on early stage companies. The firm assists clients in strategy development, business structuring, fund raising, and divestitures. It also takes positions in select companies.
Mr. Deutsch was President and CEO of Cendant's Vacation Rental Group (VRG) a $1.2 billion revenue company that he built from business plan concept since 1999. VRG, is a micro-branded e-commerce business now part of Wyndham Worldwide, servicing 45,000 real estate investors, 60,000 properties in 22 countries. Before he was Managing Director of Cendant's travel membership business and hotel franchising business in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. Amongst the 14 companies Mr. Deutsch acquired during his tenure at VRG 10 were from entrepreneurs. Mr. Deutsch also acquired 5 other entities for related Cendant companies.
Previously Mr. Deutsch was an interim CEO managing a divestiture for a Sony/Polygram joint venture. Simultaneously he was a partner in a small investment firm that held an equipment leasing business. He started his professional career with several positions at Citibank.
Mr. Deutsch received his bachelor's degree with honors in Economics from Hamilton College and an MBA from New York University. He is a member of the Institute of Directors in London and serves as a board member at two companies.
Corey's career has mirrored the rapid expansion of media and technology over the last fifteen years. Corey began as an art director working in traditional advertising and later branched out into business-to-business, direct response and promotions. As interactive media were emerging in the early 90's, Corey immersed himself in the new medium going on to drive innovative projects that leveraged the full potential of new technologies.
Before joining Rockefeller Consulting Group/Insight Capitalists, Corey founded and ran AnchoredCloud for seven years. AnchoredCloud served as a creative services company delivering award-winning websites, videos, trade installations, sales materials and advertising to clients like BMW Motorcycles, Smith Barney, Fila, IBM, Panasonic, Starwood and Universal Music.
Before launching Anchored Cloud, Corey was a founding member of the interactive department at The Sterling Group, a global brand consultancy where he led a team of twenty designers, writers, programmers and account managers. He has also held positions at the esteemed direct marketing firm Rapp Collins Worldwide and legendary ad agency Leo Burnett.
Corey's work has been lauded by the Cannes Cyberlion committee, The One Show, Forbes Best of The Web, The Mobius Awards, The Caples Awards and in other industry shows. Corey graduated magna cum laude from the Syracuse University School of Visual Communication.
